Versie Evelyn Hall PEMBROKE, Va. - Versie Evelyn Hall, 52, of Pembroke and formerly of Bluefield, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on March 21, 1951 in Maybeury, she was a daughter of the late Paul Hodges and Clara Mae Taylor and stepdaughter of Dorothy Hodges and James Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of Castle Rock Baptist Church in Pembroke. Versie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Hall Sr.; and brother, Ray Hodges. She is survived by her children, Tina Reed and husband, Bobby of Merrimac, Michelle Combs and husband, Randy of Pembroke, Jody Hall of the home, Bobby Gene Hall and wife, Becky of Pembroke, Randall Hall and wife, Rose of Ohio, and Billy Hall and wife, Frieda of Ohio; a grandson of the home, Bobby Wayne Reed; sisters, Gladys Spinella and husband, Dennis of Bluefield, Deborah Farmer and husband, Michael of Bluefield, Shirley Garrietson of Mullens, Kathy Acord and husband, Butch of Crab Orchard, and Debbie Vance and husband, Ernie of Indian Creek; brothers, Donald Taylor of Bluefield, Gary Taylor wand wife, Tammy of Blacksburg, Kenny Hodges of Indian Creek, and Benny Hodges and wife, Ailene of Bassin; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Carrie Viars of Pembroke. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Castle Rock Baptist Church in Pembroke with the Pastor Phillip Moran officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at Bluefield. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home of 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke today from 6-8 p.m.
